It is time for the last talk in the talk series Summer of Quantum. This week, Miha Papic, one of the quantum engineers at IQM Quantum Computers will tell us about noise processes in play in quantum devices. It is well known that (in most cases) noise (both coherent and incoherent) play an adverse role in storage as well as manipulation of the fragile quantum information. It’s accurate quantification, budgeting and mitigation are subjects of ongoing research within the quantum computing community. In this talk, Miha, who is an expert in quantum noise will discuss how noise and randomness play a role in quantum physics.
